Prayer Ministry

According to 2 Chronicles 7:14 … “If My people [God is seeking a core group of people devoted to Him], who are called by My name, shall humble themselves [The attitude that gains entrance into the Presence of God], pray [the travailing, birthing prayer], seek, crave, and require of necessity My face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land.

This verse is at the core of our prayer ministry. As we humble ourselves through holiness, sanctification, and love, God will answer our prayers and intercessions; the Lord hears us and attends to the voice of our prayers (Psalms 66:19). When we pray consistently, we will pray strategically.

Altar Ministry

As Altar Workers, you are agreeing to be directed by the Holy Spirit, to discern the needs of another individual and to have the responsibility to minister through intercession for a few moments in time to provide hope to the individual(s). This method of ministry is vital to the church of Jesus Christ and has high priority at CCC. During this time the individual encounters the Lord with the support of the altar worker. It is a place of sensitivity and safety. Serving with the Altar workers are the Altar Care workers providing and serving people who are vulnerable during this time. This ministry provides for the natural needs of the people who have responded to the altar call.
